Conferences

Dear Parents,
We will not be having conferences next week. We will move them to the week of April 6. We will keep the same times and days, but move it to the week of April 6. If your original time does not work for you, the sign up is still open. For example, if you signed up for Monday, March 23 at 1:45, that will become Monday, April 6 at 1:45. We will do a phone or zoom conference. I will be giving a quick update on your child's levels and to check in on how things are going for you all. If you have any questions or concerns, I'd like to help you then.

Helpful websites and survey

Although we are not going to a typical homeschool setting. This website might offer some helpful hints for you.

Here a survey as well that can help Mr. Bray and I know how to better serve you.
https://s.surveyplanet.com/nvHq6ABhx

Again, let us know if you have any questions. Although, we don't really know more than you at this point. I know this must be hard for you, but hang in there and love on your kids. Enjoy them.
Try reading recipes together and make dinner and/or bake a dessert together. Write out the list of ingredients you need before you head to the store.  (reading, writing, math)
Don't forget those 7 Habits- might keep some sanity in the house ;)

https://app.gonoodle.com (great website for dancing and also has some calming mindfulness activities)

Email from Birch Aquarium: Effective March 13th, Birch Aquarium at Scripps will be temporarily closed to the public. To mitigate transmission of COVID-19, we are heeding health and safety precautions from University of California San Diego’s Chancellor, Pradeep K. Khosla, to cancel all visits of 15 or more people from now through May 10th.

Unfortunately, this means that we will need to cancel your Tide Pool Treasures Discovery Lab programs (Order #415730) booked for Friday, April 17th. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. We appreciate your understanding as we continue to take the appropriate steps to proactively protect our community.
