Elizabeth Carnavos has taught for seventeen years, both at Tierrasanta Elementary School and in a few private schools. She has taught sixth, second and first grade, but most of her experience is in Kindergarten, totaling fourteen years. Elizabeth has helped implement a new report card and grading system, pilot new curriculum, help teach in-services, and lead her Kindergarten team. She took nine years off from teaching to raise her two daughters, ages 18 and 16.

Elizabeth loves to further her own education. She received her Master’s from National University and then obtained her National Board Certification a few years later. She took 2 classes this summer at USD. Outside of school, Elizabeth can be found helping out at her local church, lounging with a good book and her puppy, or running around beautiful San Diego. Her two favorite vacation spots are Maui and Yosemite. She loves to be with her children and watch them laugh, grow, and love life.

All learning activities are intended to provide opportunity for students to maintain learning during this time of school closure. Activities will not be turned in or graded by teachers. Parents are encouraged to use your discretion on how to best make use of the resources provided. It is our hope that these activities help support you and your child during this time.

Today's Learning Activities:
**Work on printing, go slow and careful, watching size of letters, and remember to start your letters from the top and go down.
**Work on tying your shoes, so when we meet again you know how to tie your shoes by yourself
**Work on using a tissue instead of your finger to clear out your nose, and practice good hand washing

Talk about what character they would want to be and why? Write your own adventure stories together and then act them out as a family. Have a wonderful time together. Make memories. :)
