Emily Barnard was born and raised in Northern California in the beautiful Sonoma County area. She graduated from Azusa Pacific University in 2017 with her bachelors in Liberal Studies and graduated from Sonoma State University in 2018 with her Multiple Subject Teaching Credential. She loves working with any of the grades ranging from kindergarten to third grade, but has a special heart for kindergarten. Both of her parents are teachers, and have inspired her to pour her heart into children and their growth.

 

Mrs. Barnard moved to San Diego in July of 2019, hoping for a fresh (warm) start after finishing college. She enjoys going to the beach with her friends, listening to music, working with children, as well as volunteering with foster youth. She was excited to start at Elevate Elementary because of the core values that they hold to help all students succeed.
