Brenda Beyer (she/her/ella) was born and raised in the Imperial Valley rooted in her Mexican American heritage. In 1997, Mrs. Beyer moved to San Diego to pursue her dreams, graduated from San Diego State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and earned her Masters in Educational Counseling degree at National University in 2009. Mrs. Beyer was inspired by her mother working in education and her sister as an exemplary elementary school teacher. 

 

Mrs. Beyer is happily married with a son and daughter that keep her busy with their sports and ambitions. She finds joy in spending time with family, nature, traveling, yoga, meeting new people, mission trips, experiencing new foods/culture and being active in the community. 

 

She is currently serving as Elevate’s K-5 School Counselor and super excited to serve and support the community. She thrives being the student’s biggest cheerleader in dreaming big while maneuvering through life stages via self-awareness and positively impacting themselves and those around them.
