Elevate Elementary operates as a public school with the El Dorado County Charter SELPA for all special education purposes. Accordingly, eligible students enrolled in the charter school shall receive special education services in accordance with their individualized education programs (IEP) and in the same manner as any other student enrolled in a public school.
The SELPA and member local education agencies (LEAs) foster coordination between general and special education for prevention and early intervention of suspected disabilities. The SELPA also ensures appropriate education services for individuals with disabilities by working cooperatively with other public and private agencies to support a full complement of special education services for students.
Not every service on the continuum of options is offered at Elevate Elementary. Special education services available on site at Elevate Elementary may include general education inclusion, a resource specialist program, speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, and other designated instructional services.
