Victoria Otero was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She graduated in 2010 from the University of New Mexico with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and a double minor in Science and Teaching English as a Second Language. She received her Masters of Arts in Teaching with a concentration in Literacy from San Diego State University. Ms. Otero comes from a family of educators and brings 12 years of teaching experience to Elevate. In those 12 years, she has taught 2nd, 3rd, and 5th grade.

In 2015, Ms. Otero moved to San Diego with her two children. Aside from her passion for teaching, Ms. Otero also enjoys beach days, listening to music, dancing flamenco, and spending time with her family and friends.

We the 3rd Grade Class at Elevate School will become leaders in a new and changing world. We are here to gain new knowledge and share it with others. We will follow the seven habits, persevere, use kind words and actions, be good digital citizens, and have fun.
