hi Families my name is Ryan Elliott and I'm the executive director of elevate charter school I understand it to the critical decision-making time as you consider option for your child will attend Middle School since 2014 we have to drive to equip each and every student to the excellent academic exceptional in leadership and extraordinary in creativity we are glad to serve an increasingly diverse community of learn in families which also include the high number of military families at the heart of our school is the commitment to see each and every child to challenge and support them and to personalize their learning so that the great potential inside each student is realizes both. and as a leader because of this our school Community has been recognized at the California distinguished school and as a leader in me Lighthouse School parents what are you hoping for when you envision your child's Middle School experience middle school can be a child time and parent it is really important that your child be in an environment that is safe supportive rigorous and engaging one of the ways that partner with you as a parent is through weekly email on the weekends every Sunday we send out an email where you get to know what we're going to be teaching your child that week do we always like to do it that over the weekend as well as an individualized so if you have concerns or do you have just something that you need to be clarified on we are always a phone call away or email away do we like to be as individual as you need to make sure that your child is doing well and performing what I was looking at Middle School options it was really important to me to find a school that would support the entire person not just the student when I was looking at middle school I was really encouraged to find that had a sense of community where my daughter wouldn't feel like just a student or a test score but that all of her achievements are considered and seen his qualities does a great job of encouraging. leadership styles different achievements outside of academics as well as academic achievement so it's important to me that middle school that we selected for my daughter would be all of those Bassett well I've been at Elevate they focus a lot on leadership and like for me forces leader I learned. Like I memorized 7 habits and it helped me become a better classmates a better student and better brother because I have two younger brothers at my house in example for me is like when my brother gets mad I seek first to understand then to be understood to understand his point of view and the situation the thing about Middle School teachers is that they're always there to help you whenever you need it and they are so Cooperative with your needs and they will help you no matter what situation you're in and best part about them if they don't they don't really judge you on how you learn why you learn play they know how you learn in your highs and when you're at your lowest and they really pick you up along the way and help you throughout the day trying to get you back to your. One of my favorite projects from this year was the unity science project because we got to add a lot of our subjects from regular class like Humanities math science team and like basically combined at home to one this year as a new student its weather really did here so far and all the teachers are very nice and kind and helpful when I was looking for Middle School of course like every parent I was looking for the basic education pet for personally I was really looking for schools that develop the whole person academically and emotionally and also I was looking for the school that my child would like add my child with pink that City's a place for her boutique in and go to the class size which Elevate got everything what I want and I want to see please help me I was right perfect School to learn more about Elevate Middle School please visit our school website where you can learn more about our school program and also complete a short admissions application please also look out for additional opportune in the months ahead to learn more about our school last please share this video with friends and family who also may be interested in learning about our middle school program we are excited to partner with you to support your child continued learning and growth in Middle School in the month in the
