Elevate's School-Wide WIG: Reclaiming Time Offline This year, our Elevate Community is committing to a new Wildly Important Goal: decreasing technology usage by increasing engagement of students, staff and families in offline learning that best supports growth and development.
To get there, we're focused on two key Lead Measures:
-
10+ school-wide tech-free days this year
- 20+ new reading activity extensions across our classrooms.
Today is our very first school-wide Tech-Free Day for students and staff! We suggest implementing a tech free day at home too…let’s kick things off together! |

Ms. Jacobson has stepped into her new role as a 4th grade classroom teacher at our Tierrasanta Campus with enthusiasm and a commitment to her students! She graduated from San Francisco State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies and a Masters degree in Education: Equity & Social Justice. She has experience working with students from Kindergarten through high school in a variety of educational settings. With a background in experiential learning, Ms. Jacobson strives to engage her students through hands-on activities and movement based activities.
