| Supporting Elevate's Military Students |
|

Hi! My name is Allison Donahoe-Beggs and I am the Military & Family Life Counselor (MFLC) with Elevate School!
I'm here to help students of military families feel supported, safe, and successful at school. I provide confidential, non-medical counseling support to help service members and their families navigate challenges and build resilience.
What is non-medical counseling?
It is providing strength-based and solution-focused assistance and support. Diagnosis and treatment are outside of the MFLC's scope. MFLCs can assist with feelings identification, self-esteem issues, communication, behavioral issues, and adjustment to changes such as moving or deployments.

Your military child may talk about "Lunch Bunch" or Military Group - a time when students are with their peers who understand their experiences and can provide support to one another. I also meet with individual students or siblings, particularly if a parent is deployed.
Please save the date for our upcoming Military Connections Lunch on Thursday, October 29 - a wonderful way to connect with other Elevate Military Families and learn about resources and support. I hope to see you there!
It is such a joy to provide support at all three campuses to our incredible students! If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to reach out to me - my contact information is below. Military One Source is another helpful resource - (800) 342-9647 / www.militaryonesource.mil
