Becky Madeja
Becky Madeja is a seasoned professional in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry, with a particular focus on designing educational facilities. Her background in Landscape Architecture led her to serve as the Campus Landscape Planner at the University of Pennsylvania, where she collaborated with various stakeholders to streamline project planning, manage budgets, and strategically phase construction projects. She also played a key role in initiating garden endowment gifts and environmental initiatives, such as stormwater management and bicycle parking plans.
Upon relocating to California, Becky applied her expertise to the TK-12 architecture and engineering sector in Southern California. Over nearly a decade, she worked on numerous modernization and construction projects, establishing strong relationships with agencies like the Division of the State Architect (DSA) and engaging in community outreach efforts. Her work with the San Diego Unified School District included specifications development, HVAC modernizations, and master planning for Elevate School's new campus.
Outside of her professional life, Becky enjoys diverse interests, including cooking, gardening, yoga, reading, puzzles, and outdoor adventures with her family through northwestern Washington State's Olympic National Park.
