Reopening Update, Timeline, and Survey

Summer is here, and we hope you are enjoying your time, different as it may be. As you are aware, Elevate, and every other district and charter in the state, is working through a development process to put together our reopening plans for the fall. We have been working hard to ensure each child receives a safe and meaningful learning experience. This is no small task, to be sure.

As a valued member of our school community, we want to provide you another opportunity to share your thoughts regarding the reopening of school and hear what our preliminary plans are at that point. We would like to invite you to a Reopening Townhall Webinar on June 30, at 5:00 PM. We will also share some of the previous survey results at that meeting.

Prior to June 30, we would appreciate you taking a few moments to fill out another survey, which will help guide the conversation at the Townhall webinar and our reopening plans. We have appreciated your contributions to the prior reopening survey, and would ask again that you give us input to provide helpful information. Some of the questions in this survey are very similar to questions in our previous survey, which will help us monitor parent concerns and comfort levels on reopening, as our first survey showed a wide array of opinions.

At this time, we are considering two options for student learning - Distance Learning 2.0 and In-Person Blended Learning. More information will be provided on both of these models at our Townhall webinar on June 30, and a brief overview is provided in the survey. Please note that at this point, everything is still fluid and subject to change due to state and county health guidelines.
