Jade grew up in San Diego and was very involved in the running community, running two marathons and lots of miles in Kings Canyon, among the Sequoias. After graduating in 2010 from Point Loma Nazarene University with a Bachelors in Art Education, she worked in several art studios across the county with students of all ages and was commissioned to create several public art pieces in San Diego. Then in 2014, she earned her Masters of Education from National University which, after several years of subbing and teaching her own classes, led her to Elevate in 2022. Jade is a life-long learner who shares her joy of learning with her husband and two young sons. In her spare time, you can often find her hopping onto furniture to avoid floors made of lava and frequenting the abundant playgrounds our fine city has to offer.
